The Swamp was my response to a brief asking us to produce an experiential piece of digital art exploring a theme of our choice. I chose to examine our use of genetic engineering as a way of affecting the world we live in to make changes that may have unexpected and irreversible consequences. The user is given a level of control over the organisms they add to the swamp but no real indication of what this is or how it works.
